FAQS
How much is it and how do I book?
Rideout and day tickets can be purchased via DocBike at https://docbike.beaconforms.com/form/3b986a46
Book your camping at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/dorset-bike-fest-2024-tickets-815384365587
What is included in Glamping?
Glamping Tickets are for a fully Glamped 5m STAR Bell Tent for up to 4 guests (standard set up as one double and 2 singles but get in touch with Perfect Party Tents if you need alternatives). This includes all beds, bedlinen, furnishings, decor, lights and bunting etc as well as use of a "Camp Kitchen" for the weekend with supplies for tea and coffee making etc.
How do I join the DocBike Rideout?
There are several start points to choose from, head to https://docbike.org/dorset-ride-out/ to select your preferred location and get your ticket booked.
Not only does your £15 rideout ticket support DocBike, it also includes entry to the Dorset Bike Festival and a ticket for the fantastic DocBike raffle.
Take a look at the section on Camping if you’d like to extend your visit overnight.
Can I bring my dog?
Wooders Campsite is very dog friendly, but ALL dogs must be on leads and please clear up after your dog. If you are caught not doing this, you'll be asked to leave!
Where can I park?
If you are camping for the weekend, you may park your bike or car next to your tent, but once you’re in, you’re in! If you will need your car over the weekend, please park in the day carpark instead.
We will allow bikes taking part in the DocBike rideout on Saturday to leave the camping field, but these must be pushed out of the field. Not ridden.
Those arriving with the DocBike ride out will be parked in a field adjacent to the main event field. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS ON GRASS AND IT IS ADVISABLE TO BRING A PUCK
Day visitors (cars and bikes not taking part in the rideout) will need to park in the day carpark.
What onsite facilities can we expect?
Wooders Campsite is on a rural, working farm, so facilities are basic (we prefer ‘rustic’) but clean and tidy!
There are 5 flushing loos on site, plus “portaloos” and urinals brought in for the event.
The site also offers hot showers and two cold water washing-up areas under cover, plenty of firepits for hire, and picnic benches about the place.
